The Historical Society of Southern California has a long and distinguished tradition of publications. Our oldest tradition is the Southern California Quarterly, a lively yet scholarly journal featuring articles about southern California and Los Angeles history.
In addition to the publications available at the HSSC bookstore in El Alisal, the Historical Society of Southern California regularly publishes books of its own. Since 1990, the Society has produced thirty-nine publications. Very soon you will be able to order online.
